报告人简介: Changpin Li (李常品) earned his Ph D in computational mathematics from Shanghai University. After graduation, he worked in the same university. He has ever been the director of Institute of Computational Mathematics in Shanghai University. His present research interests include: numerical methods and scientific computations of fractional partial differential equations, dynamics of fractional differential equations. He has published more than 100 papers in the referred journals, edited one book and published one book which have been published in World Scientific and CRC Press, respectively. He was awarded the Shanghai Natural Science Prize in 2010 and 2017, Bao Steel Prize in 2011, Riemann-Liouville Award: Best FDA Paper (theory) in FDA’12 in 2012.
报告题目(一):The LDG methods for typical time-fractional partial differential equations
报告摘要:In this talk, we present the local discontinuous Galerkin (LDG) finite element methods for typical time-fractional partial differential equations (TFPDEs): reaction-diffusion equation, reaction-diffusion-wave equation, and cable equation, where the time fractional derivative is in the sense of Caputo. The existence, uniqueness, and regularity of solutions of the above equations are studied. The stability, convergence, and error estimates of the derived DG schemes are displayed. And the numerical examples are also included which support the theoretical analysis.

报告题目(二):Caputo-Hadamard fractional differential equations: analysis and computation
报告摘要:In this talk, the existence and uniqueness of solution to Caputo-Hadamard fractional differential equation (FDE) are studied. The continuation theorem is established too. Then, Euler and predictor-corrector methods are built up to solve this kind of FDEs. The stability and error analysis of the derived numerical schemes are investigated as well. At last, a numerical example is carried out to verify the numerical algorithm.
