报告题目：A diffusive SIS epidemic model with saturated Incidence mechanism

报告摘要：In this talk, I will discuss our recent progress on a diffusive SIS epidemic model with a saturated incidence mechanism. We first examine the model with a small movement rate for the susceptible population and establish the asymptotic profile of the endemic equilibrium. Next, we analyze the model with a zero movement rate for the susceptible population and determine the long-term dynamics of this parabolic-ODE system. Our findings for these two models align with each other and differ significantly from those for the corresponding models that do not consider the effect of the saturated incidence mechanism.

报告人简介：彭锐，教授，受聘浙江师范大学杰出教授。曾受聘江苏省特聘教授，入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，获得“江苏省杰出青年基金”和“江苏省数学成就奖”，入选江苏省“333人才工程”中青年学科带头人。博士毕业于东南大学和澳大利亚新英格兰大学，硕士和博士论文都被评为“江苏省优秀硕士/博士学位论文”，曾在加拿大纽芬兰大学AARMS和美国明尼苏达大学IMA（美国NSF资助）从事博士后工作, 德国“洪堡学者”获得者。目前的主要研究兴趣包括偏微分方程、动力系统理论以及在生物学、传染病学和化学反应等领域的应用。已在《Sci. China Math.》、《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《J. Math. Pures Appl.》、《J. Funct. Anal.》、《Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré C Anal. Non Linéaire》、《Indiana Univ. Math. J.》、《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》、《SIAM J. Appl. Math.》、《J. Math. Biol.》等国内外数学刊物发表学术论文80余篇。
