报告摘要：Cauchy's residue theorem has been used extensively for evaluating definite integrals and sums with applications in combinatorics and special functions. In this talk, we will first give an overview of several methods for proving combinatorial identities including Egorychev's method via residues and a new application of the classical Nicole's residue theorem on rational functions to proving and discovering vanishing sums. This is a joint work with Rong-Hua Wang.

报告人简介：陈绍示，主要研究符号计算，计算微分代数与代数组合学(Wilf-Zeilberger方法,形式幂级数理论等)，现为中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员。
