报告摘要:Badly approximable numbers and vectors are important objects in Diophantine approximation and have been attracting more and more people from number theory and homogeneousdynamics in recent years. We will study the Hausdorff dimension and winning properties of sets of badly approximable numbers and vectors. I will explain how to use ideas and techniques from homogeneous dynamics to study these problems. We will start with badly approximable numbers, and then move to 2-dimensional badly approximable vectors and higher dimensional case. It turns out that higher dimensional case is very different from 2-dimensional case.
