报告题目:The general dual Orlicz-Minkowski problem
报告摘要:A central problem in convex geometry is the $L_p$ Minkowski problem aiming to characterize the $L_p$ surface area measures of convex bodies (i.e., compact and convex sets with the origin in their interiors). Such a problem has a history over 100 years and plays crucial roles in many areas of mathematics, such as, in analysis and partial differential equations.In this talk, I will present our recent progress on the general dual Orlicz-Minkowski problem, a nontrivial extension of the $L_p$ Minkowski problem which contains the $L_p$ Minkowski problem and the $L_p$ dual Minkowski problem as special cases. In particular, the existence of the solutions to the general dual Orlicz-Minkowski problem will be provided.
报告人简介:叶德平教授,加拿大杰出数学家,现任职于纽芬兰纪念大学。在凸几何、几何分析、量子计算和统计上有突出贡献。在Adv Math、CVPDE等杂志上有20余篇文章。
