报告题目:Some recent progress on a kinetic-fluid models
报告摘要:A kinetic-fluid models describing the evolutions of disperse two-phase flows is considered. This model consists of the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck equation for the particles (disperse phase) coupled with the compressible Navier-Stokes equations for the fluid (fluid phase) through the friction force. The friction force depends on the density, which is different from many previous studies on kinetic-fluid models and is more physical in modeling but significantly more difficult in analysis. We first discuss the global well-posedness of strong solution in the three-dimensional whole space is established when the initial data is a small perturbation of some given equilibrium. Next, we discuss the global existence of weak solution for general initial data when the friction force depends on a given function.
报告人简介:栗付才,南京大学数学系教授、博士生导师,主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程。多次主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目。
