课程内容:The multistep methods have a long history, basically because their implementation is not expensive. This is why they were implemented even before computers were invented, starting from the work of Bashforth and Adams from 1883, but their theory was developed in the 1950’s, mainly due to G. Dahlquist’s contributions, who proved that a multistep method converges, if and only if it is consistent and stable. In this class, we will present some preliminaries, stability and convergence of multistep methods.
个人简介:Georgios Akrivis希腊约阿尼拉大学教授,SIAM J Num. Anal 编委。计算数学顶级专家,主要研究微分方程数值解。在Numer Math, Math Comput, SIAM. J. Numer. Anal等杂志发表SCI论文50余篇。
