报告题目:Spectral perturbation of small-amplitude periodic problem and applications
报告摘要:A challenge problem for stability analysis of a periodic wave train is that the related linearized operator has purely essential spectrum when its spectral problem is considered on the whole line. In this talk, I will show our recent work on the existence and instability of small-amplitude periodic waves emerging from fold-Hopf equilibria in a system of one reaction-diffusion equation coupled with one ordinary differential equation. Based on the perturbation theory of linear operators, we rigorously prove the instability of the perturbed periodic waves.
报告人简介:陈双,华中师范大学副研究员,主要从事微分方程与动力系统的研究工作,包括微分方程分支理论、稳定性理论和几何奇异摄动理论等。在PhyD, JDDE, DCDS-A等杂志发表数篇SCI论文。
