报告一:A Kronecker product splitting preconditioner for two- dimensional space-fractional diffusion equations
摘要:This talk deals with preconditioned iterative methods for the linear system arising in the numerical discretization of a two-dimensional space-fractional diffusion equation. A Kronecker product splitting of the system together with a structure preserving approximation to one- dimensional discretized fractional diffusion operator are the key ingredients for the preconditioning strategy. Theoretically, we show that the eigenvalues of the resulting preconditioned matrix are clustered around one. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of this approach.
报告二:Splitting preconditioners for the Bidomain equations
摘要:This talk deals with the construction of an alternating splitting iteration scheme for solving and preconditioning a block two-by-two linear system arising from numerical discretizations of the bidomain equations. The convergence theory of this class of splitting iteration methods is established and some useful properties of the preconditioned matrix are analyzed. The potential of this approach is illustrated by numerical experiments.
