报告题目：THE MOTIVIC COHOMOLOGY OF BPGLn I: A QUICK INTRODUCTION TO MOTIVIC HOMOTOPY THEORY

报告摘要：This talk is a prerequisite on motivic homotopy theory with a focus on its relation to the classical homotopy theory of topological spaces. We will introduce Grothendieck topologies, the (stable and unstable) motivic homotopy categories, the cycle class map, and the Steenrod reduced power operations.

报告题目：THE MOTIVIC COHOMOLOGY OF BPGLn II: AN ALMOST POLYNOMIAL RING OF THE CHOW RING AND COHOMOLOGY OF BPGLn

报告摘要：For a complex algebraic group G, the geometric classifying space BG is an object in the (unstable) motivic homotopy category, which classifies the ́etale principal G-bundles. Moreover, the cycle class map takes BG to the classifying space of G(C), the space of complex points of G, which is a complex Lie group.In this talk we discuss the Chow ring and cohomology of BPGLn, the classifying space of the projective linear group PGLn and present some applications.
